Ron Warrington

MANAGING DIRECTOR – New Albion Ventures 

Ron Warrington is the Managing Director of New Albion Ventures, the Company’s Venture Capital arm, and an active participant in the Silicon Valley business community. For the past four years, Ron has directed New Albion’s involvement in PACE Funding Group (PFG), the Clean Energy Start-up for which New Albion has provided multiple rounds of early stage investment capital. As a longtime specialist in the public and private financing markets and a nationally known authority on Energy, Ron has extensive experience in the areas of Fintech, IT, telecom, software (and SaaS), business services, security, healthcare, and clean tech. Recent companies in which he has played an essential financing and management role include Lifelock, Inc., Digital Persona, Inc. and PFG. Ron has served as Chairman of the Board of Digital Persona, a leading worldwide optical biometric company, as President & Chief Operating Officer of SoftTech Ventures Corporation, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company formed to explore SaaS, Software Security, and related enterprises, and as Senior Board Member & Manager of PACE Funding Group.  

Prior to his association with New Albion, Ron was a Senior Partner at Energy & Environmental Economics where he directed the Company’s efforts in Finance, Mergers & Acquisition, new energy technologies, strategic planning & emerging markets, as well as being the Founder & Principal of New Health Ventures, the VC arm of Blue Cross/Blue Shield. Ron began his career on Wall Street at JP Morgan Chase working in the areas of Real Estate Finance and Mixed-Use Development   

Ron holds an AB in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA in Finance and Management from Harvard Business School.
